Lynn is comprehensively certified in the STOTT Pilates Method, and has been teaching since 2014. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Dance from Wayne State University, where she was exposed to Pilates for the first time. Pilates helped her build strength and resiliency as a dancer, which she carried into her career post graduation, living in Seattle and working as a freelance contemporary dancer. She has experience working with many demographics and feels comfortable providing a safe and effective movement practice for any client she comes across. She has worked with clients pre and post-partum, and those who have scoliosis, osteoarthritis, joint replacements, as well as those working to increase their athleticism in general. While teaching movement, she draws inspiration not only from her Pilates and dance training, but from techniques such as the Franklin Method, the MELT method, and Countertechnique (a dance method.) Clients say that Lynn has a focused, gentle energy that keeps them feeling calm and empowered. Lynn believes in movement positivity, and that even through injuries and difficult medical diagnoses, there is always potential and healing through movement. She helps her clients conquer fears they have around movement and exercise, which helps to not only strengthen the body but the mind. She looks forward to continuing her movement education, and helping her clients find more freedom in movement. Lynn has been teaching in the Ann Arbor area since 2024.
